Logging In

Please log in to License Manager to using your license. Your login works with your email address and a numeric passcode.

Obtaining a login

You account administrator will add you as a user on the account. You will receive an email with your passcode when this happens.

Only registered users can log in. If your name is not listed in the registered users table, then:

Request your account administrator to add as a registered user. Depending on the availability of past license information on your computer, you may be able to access the registered users tab to see contact details for the account administrator.
If you are the only user on the account (e.g. you are a sole practitioner) or if there is no account administrator, contact Prokon Support with your request to be added as the account administrator.

Logging in

Enter your email address and passcode to log in. Once logged in, License Manager will remember you on that computer. You will not need to log in again unless you specifically log out.

Logging in at another computer

If you want to use PROKON on another computer (e.g. your laptop computer, or work from home), simply log in at the computer too.

There is no problem with being logged in to more than one computer at a time. However, depending on the number workstations contained in your license, you may not be able to use your license on more than one computer at the same time.

Suggestion: By default, License Manager will automatically log you in and activate your license every time you use PROKON. If this is not desirable, e.g. you work on a computer that is shared with other users, then you can disable the persistent sessions setting.

Login recovery

If you have forgotten your passcode, you can request a passcode reset to your email address.

Suggestion: To prevent you spam filter from blocking messages from the License Server, add the domain prokon.com to your list of trusted senders.

Change your passcode

To change your passcode, go to the settings tab, or click your email address in the status bar.

Logging out

Under normal circumstances, you do not ever need to log out of License Manager. Log out if you will not be using PROKON on a particular computer again, e.g. the computer is being decommissioned or allocated to someone else. To log out, go to the settings tab or click your email address in the status bar.

If you are merely ending a PROKON session then there is no need to log out; simply close all PROKON programs.
